The Problem
Interior teams need to move from plans and references to client-ready options quickly, but AI rendering products often hide provider cost, moderation failure, asset provenance, and the point where a human must approve the result.
The Challenge
I narrowed the first sellable release to an invite-only journey: canonicalised plan intake, quarantine, project review, synchronous layout, one supported render provider, presentation boards, and PNG, PDF, or ZIP export. Product work tied every paid action to credit holds, refund behaviour, safety checks, and explicit operational evidence before public self-service.
Results
RenderBoard now has a defined supervised-beta scope across a Next.js web app, FastAPI and Celery application layer, and local OCR service. The release plan explicitly separates implemented product capability from the staging, provider, payment, safety, and operational proof still required before paid invitations.
